deliver.media engine. Version 2 Release Notes

The following changelog details updates, enhancements, and fixes introduced in each Version 2 release. For the latest Version 3 updates, refer to Version 3 Release Notes.

Version 2.272 (May 12, 2021)

Note

This is the last Version 2 release compatible with .NET 4.6. Moving forward, updates will require .NET 4.8 and will be released under Version 3.

Key Enhancements

• UI
  • Introduced functionality to skip autostart by holding the SHIFT key while launching, allowing operators to manually select tasks before starting.

Fixed

• FileCopy (FTP Destination)
  • Resolved path handling issue where paths with a trailing / now use the source filename as destination, while paths without a trailing / use the last path element as the filename.

Version 2.271 (May 5, 2021)

New Functions

• Program.Execute
  • Added UseShellExecute for launching shell-dependent applications like Node.js. New return values PROGRAM_EXITCODE and PROGRAM_ERRORS capture the program's exit code and error status, respectively.

Key Enhancements

• WatchFolder/ReadFolder
  • Improved task handling when NotificationDelay is set. Subsequent tasks display immediately in the Task List as pending until the delay period ends.

  • Enhanced handling of duplicate jobs by including upstream data in comparisons, reducing reliance on DuplicateJobPolicy="IgnoreAll".
