musiccompanion. step by step full install guide

musiccompanion. for MusicMaster: With one click, find the missing metadata and with the second click, have the data written back directly into your music database. Complete and fill out your database with the fully integrated musiccompanion.

Options

There are two ways in which you can install deliver.media musiccompanion. 

1. Install musiccompanion. from the Windows Store here
   Use this, if you want to use musiccompanion. for a single user with a local installation.
2. Install musiccompanion. with an installation packet here
   Use this, if you need AI Functionality, a centralized configuration or more than one user

Install musiccompanion. from the windows Store

1. Go to https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9n66lc8p68qn?hl=en-us&gl=CH 
2. Click View in Store and allow your browser to open the Microsoft Store
   
   
3. In the Windows Store, click Get and wait for the installation to complete.
   
4. You now have musiccompanion. installed and can start using it

Step by step

1. Download the package and unblock it before unzipping it.
2. Run the setup.exe in the folder you unpacked
3. The Setup Wizard will open. You can click next
   
4. If you already have a username and password for musiccompanion. AI Tagging enter your credentials, otherwise leave the fields empty and click next
   
5. Wait a few seconds until the installer continues
6. Choose the installation path. We recommend using the default path
   
7. The installer is now ready to install musiccompanion. click next
   
8. Wait until the installation window shows that installation has been completed.
9. Choose if you want to open musiccompanion. after the installation 
   
10. You can now close the installer
    

First steps after installation

1. Open the musiccompanion app
2. Click on the three dots & How to configure MusicMaster? 
   
3. Fill in the required fields with your Artist and Title fields from MusicMaster and copy the userbutton information below.
   Paste the copied userbutton into either your [DatabaseName].ini (in the same place as your MusicMaster Database) or MusicMaster.ini file (In the MusicMaster Installation Folder)
   
4. Now you can open your MusicMaster and click the newly added musiccompanion. icon. The first time you do this, there will be no active configuration yet, so you'll see this field: 
   
5. To add your first Field to be written back we click on the plus and choose (for example) ISRC from the musiccompanion field dropdown. In the MusicMaster Field ID you enter the number of your ISRC MusicMaster field. The last column is only needed for Advanced applications and can be left empty here. Then click add.
   
6. Repeat this step with as many fields as you like then click save. 
   
7. musiccompanion. will now use the provided fields to communicate with MusicMaster!
