Answer:

You can simply replace the existing (old) license with the new license file license.lic. The detailed description can be found in the next section.

Step by step solution for local licenses:

• Make sure you have a proper/new license file that is unzipped (could be that still need to be unlocked)
• Navigate to the deliver.media engine. application folder

💡 Tip: Click on Tasks and the right click on Tasks. You will see the application folder directly

• Rename the existing license file license.lic to license.old (1)

• Place the license.lic file in the folder (2)
• Restart the deliver.media engine.
• Navigate to "About" to check if the license is active.

• Done! Don't forget to start the job! 

Step by step solution for centralized engine. licenses: 

• Go to C:\deliver.media
• You should see a file called engine.lic (different from license.lic)
• Rename it to engine.lic.20XX where XX stands for the past year, or simply engine.lic.old
• Paste the new license.lic that you got from us in the folder and rename it to engine.lic
• 
• Restart the deliver.media engines
• Navigate to "About" to check if the license is active.
